C.A.B. Tournament Rules:
The Calling All Ballers tournament is a two day tournament that is like no other tournament you have heard of. The tournament will be held on Saturday July 16th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday July 17th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. It will be held at the North Liberty Community Center 520 W Cherry St. North Liberty, IA 52317. Individuals who choose to play in the Calling All Ballers tournament have a chance to win a $2500 prize money for themselves and their team.

In order to be eligible for the tournament players must be 18+ years old and one should have a team with a minimum of at least 5 players and a maximum of 7. We recommend 7 players (in case of injury) because we will be running 5 on 5 and don’t want a team risking having less than 5 players, otherwise the team faces disqualification from the tournament and will no longer have a chance at winning the $2500 prize money, and will not be given a refund, but this is at your team’s own risk. Teams can also be CO-ED

C.A.B. Gameplay
• These are straight to the money tournaments and are not laid out like most other tournaments. Each game is 25 minutes long and players are to play to the death.
• The clock will not stop unless a team is using one of their 3 30 second timeouts.
• Each team can sub as they please on dead balls.
• By the end of the 25 minutes whichever team has scored the most points will advance to the next round.
• In case of a tie teams will have 2 minutes to play their hardest and come out with the win.
• If there are disagreements on calls then players will shoot for it.
• If players argue over calls the clock will not stop, if arguing is excessive you risk being disqualified.
• If any players get into a physical altercation the entire team is disqualified
NO REFUNDS.

Liability Waiver

1. I understand and agree that I am voluntarily participating in this basketball tournament and assume all risks associated with such play.

2. I acknowledge that there are risks and hazards in playing basketball including, but not limited to, those caused by court circumstances, playing circumstances, equipment and other participants, in addition to the actions of dribbling, passing, shooting, and dunking the basketball, running, jumping, stretching, sliding, diving and collisions with other players, spectators, or stationary objects, any of which may Cause death or serious injury to the player. I am also fully aware that I am solely responsible for my own safety while traveling to or from participating in this tournament.

3. In consideration of S.O.G presenting an opportunity to play on the courts owned, operated, or used by the North Liberty Community Center, I AGREE TO RELEASE S.O.G, their board of philanthropist, all sponsors, basketball officials, volunteers, the facility where games are held, and the North Liberty Community Center, from any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, costs and attorney’s fees arising out of playing in the S.O.G tournament listed above.

4. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE THE RIGHT AND OBLIGATION TO EXAMINE the Court and areas surrounding prior to each game.  If for some reason I find the court is not safe, I have the right to choose not to play.

5. I agree that S.O.G, their board of philanthropist, all sponsors, basketball officials, volunteers, the facility where games are held, and the North Liberty Community Center are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

6. I further grant permission to S.O.G and its board of philanthropist to use any photographs, motion pictures, video recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

7. I acknowledge that I have read the above liability form and understand its terms and agree to abide by its terms and conditions.

Registration Form

The team submission fee of $400 must be paid in full by July 11th along with a registration form and liability waiver signed and submitted by each player on the team. After submitting your waiver and registration form, an e-mail will be sent to each player to request payment through PayPal.

Each player can submit individual payments as long as the team fee requirement is met by July 11th or each team can submit a team fee in its entirety. If you are submitting a team fee than only one player/team captain will be responsible for making the payment through PayPal, but all other players will still receive request until team fee is paid.
